We use the best leathers in the world - from a few different tanneries. Horween (Chicago), Wickett & Craig (PA), Opera Tannery (Italy), SB Foot (MN). We only use full grain, Grade A-AAA quality leathers and never cut corners on materials.

All of our boots are Goodyear Welted construction. "Goodyear construction" involves stitching a welt to the upper and insole of a shoe. The welt is connected to both the upper and insole with thread by means of a raised ridge around the bottom outside edge of the insole, usually reinforced with a canvas-like "rib" (known as "gemming") which is cemented to the back of the ridge. It is known to be one of the best ways to construct a boot, making it water protected and able to be resoled many times. When your leather sole wears out - any cobbler can 'resole' your boot back to new.

All of our boots are designed, by Justin, in NC. They are cut, sewn and finished by hand in our PA factory. Almost all of our leathers are sourced from American tanneries, unless labeled otherwise from our Italian leather suppliers. They are 100% cut and sewn in America.
